As we head into the Easter break, weâd like to wish all of our clients, landlords, buyers and tenants a very Happy Easter. We hope you get the chance to switch off, spend time with family, and enjoy a well-earned break.

With Q1 of 2026 now complete, itâs been a solid and encouraging start to the year for the Irish property market. Demand has remained consistently strong, particularly across Dublin and surrounding commuter areas, Weâve seen strong demand throughout the quarter, with a steady flow of properties coming to market . Well-presented properties are attracting significant interest, often going sale agreed quickly, while the rental market remains highly competitive with very limited availability.
Weâve also seen continued confidence from investors and landlords, alongside steady enquiry levels from first-time buyers, despite ongoing affordability challenges and interest rate considerations. Overall, the market has shown resilience and stability through the first quarter â a very positive sign heading into the rest of the year.
April is traditionally where the market really begins to gather pace, and weâre already seeing that shift. The combination of brighter evenings, improved weather, and renewed focus after Q1 typically brings a surge in new listings and increased activity across both sales and lettings.
At our end, weâre looking forward to coming back after the break and really upping the tempo. With continued growth across our sales, lettings, and short-term rental divisions, weâre excited for what Q2 has in store.
If youâre considering selling, letting, or exploring your options in the current market, now is a great time to act. Early engagement in Q2 can make a significant difference in achieving the best possible outcome.
